Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Site Performance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for driving safety initiatives, customer satisfaction, site productivity, and cost effectiveness across all aspects of the site requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the customer focal point and ambassador for all our customer mine sites, building rapport and enhancing customer experiences through improved communication, site-wide efficiencies, and the implementation of modern technologies and opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to promote product health and performance, taking the lead on customer expectations and developing innovative solutions to meet their needs.
  • Deal with complex issues or problems, maintaining calm and open-minded, and seeking out new and alternative approaches to resolve issues.
  • Monitor key quality goals, including machine mechanical availability, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, equipment management, efficiency, cost savings, and mine site KPI achievements.
  • Establish and maintain high-level relationships with business decision makers and subject matter experts, developing and implementing a relationship strategy for all functional areas.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a technical role with a focus on providing solutions for customers, or 10 years of experience in mining or construction operations with an in-depth knowledge of computers and mining/heavy civil construction technology.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with exceptional planning and organizational skills and the ability to deliver on all project phases without direct supervision.
  • Competent with office programs such as MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective communication skills, with the understanding and knowledge to communicate to the right people and parties at the right level when needed.
  • Strong mathematical acumen and great people skills to develop a collaborative/cooperative work environment.
Additional Skills
  • Mine operations experience on-site would be considered a strong asset.
  • Consulting experience would be considered an asset.
  • Mine Planning experience would be considered an asset.
