Tang Maru Korean Restaurant is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Dependability and team player
Work Environment:

Tang Maru Korean Restaurant is a fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

30 hours per week.
