Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Manager of French Canadian Content Development to lead the strategic direction and execution of our French Canadian Content Development (CCD) programs and initiatives. This role requires strong French and English language skills, as well as the ability to communicate fluently in both written and verbal forms.

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in the Québec market working in events and sponsorship, managing and executing sponsorships from small to large scale, and working with multiple partners. They should also demonstrate strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for French CCD sponsorships and partnerships.
  • Lead event production and promotion, including assets related to Canadian artists.
  • Identify and pursue sponsorship opportunities to maximize exposure for Canadian artists.
  • Manage and track sponsorship asset deliverables.
  • Compile and deliver event wrap-up reports.
  • Collaborate with other key business units on French activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary education in event management, marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in the Québec market working in events and sponsorship.
  • Experience overseeing and managing event production.
  • Experience managing and executing small, medium, and large-scale sponsorships.
  • Strong French and English language skills, with the ability to communicate fluently in both written and verbal forms.
  • Familiarity and passion for the Québec market, culture, and Canadian content.
  • Ability to travel to Toronto head office for 3-4 days each month.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
