Job Title: Executive Chef Team Leader
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Alberta Ltd. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest quality of food service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Kitchen Operations: Oversee all aspects of kitchen management, including menu planning, inventory control, and supplier relations.
- Supervise Staff: Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of kitchen facilities and food preparation areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard, adhering to recipe specifications and presentation guidelines.
- Sales and Marketing: Work with the sales and marketing team to develop new menu items and promote existing products to increase sales and revenue.
Requirements:
- Culinary Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Culinary Qualifications: Holding a relevant qualification such as a diploma or degree in culinary arts is desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage staff and work with customers.
