Surgical In-Patient Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our In-Patient Surgical team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care in accordance with the College of Nurses and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Make clinical decisions and exercise judgment to provide best possible nursing care within available resources.
- Provide health education to patients and their families.
- Contribute to the development of nursing and unit objectives.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and standards related to occupational health and safety.
- Certificate of competency in Ontario.
- Minimum 2 years of current surgical experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment and IV therapy.
- Computer literacy in a Microsoft environment.
