About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our In-Patient Surgical team at Sault Area Hospital. As a Surgical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, including pre- and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient progress, report changes, and adjust care plans as needed.

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Minimum 2 years of current surgical experience.
  • Knowledge of surgical procedures, patient assessment, and care planning.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
