Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Join Ontario Inc. Mom's Restaurant as a Food Service Supervisor and take on a challenging role that requires strong leadership and communication skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef
  • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
Work Environment:

Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment, and you will be required to work under pressure. You will be standing for extended periods and will need to have a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. You will also need to have excellent oral communication skills and be able to work efficiently with a team.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
