Key Responsibilities:
- Lead contract negotiations with clients, suppliers, and third parties to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Manage contract documentation control from pre-award negotiations through contract close-out.
- Oversee hands-on contract administration, including review of contracts relative to proposals submitted.
- Prepare instructions for contractual deliverable items and engage in future capture efforts.
- Represent Contracts at program meetings and drive contractual action items to completion.
Requirements:
- 8+ years' experience in commercial/contracts administration.
- 2+ years' managing 2 or more direct reports.
- Capable of acquiring a NATO Secret security clearance and a Canadian Controlled Goods assessment.
Desired Skills:
- Degree in Law, Commerce, or related field from an accredited institution.
- Aerospace/defence or related business experience is an advantage.
- Experience drafting and negotiating standard supply and purchase agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
