Job Title: Intermediate Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to join our team at Riverview Elementary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching students in grades 4-7 and will work collaboratively with other staff members to implement the school's curriculum and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach students in grades 4-7, following the BC Ministry of Education's curriculum guidelines
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum
  • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress
Requirements:
  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate
  • Member in good standing with the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch
  • Elementary Education specialization at the intermediate level
  • Recent successful experience teaching at the intermediate level
