Job Title: Intermediate Teacher

We are seeking a qualified Intermediate Teacher to join our team at Riverview Elementary School.

Job Summary:

This is a temporary teaching opportunity for an Intermediate Teacher to work with students in Grades 4-7. The successful candidate will have a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach Intermediate level subjects to students in Grades 4-7
  • Develop and implement lesson plans to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success
  • Participate in school-based team meetings and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate
  • Member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch
  • Recent successful experience teaching at the Intermediate level
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
What We Offer:

The Quesnel School District offers a competitive salary range of $61,175 to $109,520, based on length of service and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package and pension plan.
