Job Title: Intermediate Teacher

We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to fill a temporary position at Riverview Elementary School. The successful candidate will have a valid BC Teaching Certificate and be a member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach intermediate-level students (Grades 4-7)
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of students
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student success
  • Participate in school-based team meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of the School Growth Plan and Aboriginal Enhancement Agreement
Requirements:
  • Valid BC Teaching Certificate
  • Member in good standing in the BC Ministry of Education, Teacher Regulation Branch
  • Recent successful experience teaching at the intermediate level
  • Training Specialization in Elementary Education with specialization at the intermediate level
