MRI Research Technologist

Job Summary
The University Health Network (UHN) is seeking a highly skilled MRI Research Technologist to join our team in the Joint Department of Medical Imaging, Research Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing PET-MRI and MRI procedures to aid in patient diagnosis, intervention, and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Perform PET-MRI and MRI procedures according to established protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with MRI safety standards and regulations.
- Prepare and document patient records and test results.
- Collaborate with research teams to design and implement research studies.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
- Completion of a recognized post-diploma program in MRI or equivalent with MRI certification.
- Certification in Nuclear Medicine from a recognized academic institution.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Minimum three years of recent clinical MRI experience.
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
- Membership with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT).
