Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Retail Sales Manager to join our team at R P C Enterprises Ltd.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that sales targets are met, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales teams to duties, ensuring optimal coverage and productivity.
  • Hire, train, and develop sales staff, promoting a positive work environment and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Authorize payments by cheque, maintaining accurate records and adhering to financial protocols.
  • Order merchandise, managing inventory levels and stockroom organization.
  • Authorize returns, resolving customer complaints and ensuring seamless transactions.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring efficient staffing and workload management.
  • Sell merchandise, utilizing strong sales techniques and product knowledge to drive revenue growth.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights for business improvement.
  • Resolve issues promptly, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing losses.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of sales staff, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a retail leadership position, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving goals.
  • A reliable and flexible approach, with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
