About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pita Pit Wasaga Beach. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
    • Train and develop our staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to provide excellent service and prepare high-quality food.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that our customers receive a positive and memorable dining experience.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage and maintain accurate records of stock, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
    • Standing for extended periods.
    • Bending, crouching, kneeling.
    • Walking.
    • Physically demanding.
  • Security and Safety
    • Criminal record check.
