Job Title: Loans Adviser

Cold Iron Truck Center Inc. is seeking a skilled Loans Adviser to join our team. As a Loans Adviser, you will be responsible for approving or rejecting loan applications, assisting clients with financial objectives, and completing credit and loan documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Approve or reject loan applications based on client creditworthiness and financial information
  • Assist clients in achieving their financial goals, such as business expansion, debt management, and investment
  • Complete credit and loan documentation, including reviewing and updating credit and loan files
  • Forward irreconcilable accounts for collector action and prepare statements on delinquent accounts
  • Interview loan applicants and research and evaluate their financial status, references, credit, and ability to repay loans
  • Promote the sale of credit and loan services and submit credit and loan applications to management
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Health care plan and permanent work term
Working Conditions:
  • 35 to 44 hours per week
  • English language
