Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of exceptional healthcare services in our Emergency Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and nursing practice activities
  • Provide nursing care, assistance, and relief to all nursing areas, including ICU, Maternity, Med/Surg, and Ambulatory Care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Three (3) years' full-time recent acute care experience involving intensive care, obstetrics, and emergency or an equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to deal with others effectively and physically able to carry out the duties of the position
