Job Title: Paving Foreman/Woman

VALLEX DEEP CONSTRUCTION LTD. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paving Foreman/Woman to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Paving Foreman/Woman to oversee the installation of asphalt and concrete pavements, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project deadlines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of paving crews, ensuring efficient and safe operations.
  • Estimate costs and materials, and oversee the procurement of necessary equipment and supplies.
  • Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including production and quality control metrics.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of skilled workers, and provide guidance on best practices and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and implement measures to minimize risks and hazards.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in paving operations, with a strong background in construction and leadership.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
  • Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
