Program Director Opportunity at Milk-E-Media

We are seeking a seasoned Program Director to lead our Toronto radio stations, Q107 and The Edge 102.1. As a key member of our senior management team, you will drive ratings growth, foster a positive station culture, and develop strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Programming Department for Q107 and The Edge 102.1
  • Develop and execute detailed strategic and operational plans to drive ratings growth
  • Foster a collaborative and positive station culture
  • Mentor and develop on-air talent
  • Collaborate with corporate and radio division teams to implement strategic initiatives
  • Develop and execute revenue-generating programming and integrated offerings
  • Manage general administration, HR matters, and budget oversight
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in radio broadcasting or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in radio operations, with on-air experience an asset
  • Proven ability to coach and direct on-air talent
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to share ideas across Corus Programming platforms
  • Demonstrated understanding of multi-platform branding
  • Experience in successfully managing the programming department of a radio station
  • Adaptability and comfort in a fast-paced industry
  • Strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders and partners
  • History of leveraging programming to drive revenue
