Job Title: Director, Business Analytics

Job Summary:

Sun Life Financial is seeking a highly skilled Director, Business Analytics to lead our Group Benefits business analytics team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and delivering analytics business support to our Group Benefits business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage analytics business support to Group Benefits business teams.
  2. Collaborate with analytics resources in all relevant technical teams to support delivery of initiatives.
  3. Manage the key initiative budget for data ingestion, resourced through IT.
  4. Lead delivery of GB data engineering needs to enable GB Plan Sponsor and Advisor level analysis for both internal and external use cases.

Requirements:

  1. 7+ years of analytical experience with 3+ years of recent experience in business analytics/BI and/or developing and implementing data science techniques.
  2. B.Sc. Computer Science, Mathematics, Stats, Engineering, and Masters in Management Analytics or MBA or equivalent work experience.
  3. 3+ years of leading a data analytics team, or equivalent experience as a senior member of a team leading projects and providing managerial support.
  4. Expert knowledge and experience in data analytics and application in business strategy for effective decision making.
  5. Demonstrate drive for, and application of, continuous learning on innovations in advanced analytics and industry developments.
