We are seeking a skilled Trade Commodity Finance Portfolio Analyst to join our team at SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA. Key Responsibilities- Collateral Risk Monitoring: Analyze and approve letter of credit or loan requests from clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- AML and Sanctions Checks: Perform thorough checks on all deals to prevent financial crimes and ensure the integrity of our operations.
- Reconciliation and Record-Keeping: Reconcile activities and maintain accurate records, ensuring that both our systems and the bank's booking system are up-to-date.
- Collateral Valuation and Analysis: Conduct regular collateral valuation and analysis to identify trends and potential risks.
- Covenant Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze client collateral reports, financial reports, and other relevant data to ensure compliance with loan agreements.
- Client Communication and Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and insights to support their business needs.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in middle office or back office collateral monitoring, preferably in the trade finance industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Excel and other financial software is required.
- Language: Fluency in English is essential, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients. Knowledge of French is a plus.
