About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced investment professional to join our team at CDPQ as a Premier Analyst, Portfolio Financing. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the achievement of business objectives for the Credit to Enterprises, Fixed Income mandate, specifically for the Portfolio Financing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment of the Portfolio Financing strategy, including the analysis and execution of transactions, and the management and monitoring of portfolios.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Strategy and Development, Risk, Evaluation, Taxation, and Legal Affairs, to ensure the successful implementation of the strategy.
  • Contribute to the structuring and negotiation of legal documentation related to investment opportunities.
  • Prepare and present preliminary analyses and investment recommendations to decision-making bodies.
  • Monitor and manage portfolios, including the production of required documentation, risk assessment, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, portfolio management, or a related field.
  • Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or FRM are considered an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software and databases, including Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, and Capital IQ.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken.
