We are seeking an experienced Chief Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a fully empowered data specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction and core backbone of our business from a data perspective.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and efficient data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems or data warehouses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF) or AWS Glue.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the ETL process.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including technical specifications, data mappings, and workflow diagrams.
- Implement data quality controls and validation checks to identify and address data anomalies, inconsistencies, or errors.
About You:
- 3+ years proven experience as an ETL Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing principles, and data integration patterns.
- Familiarity with data modeling tools and techniques, such as ER diagrams, dimensional modeling, and star schemas.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Property & Casualty Insurance/Brokerage domain.
