About the Role

We're looking for a Databricks Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you'll contribute to the design, development, and deployment of modern data solutions using Azure, AWS and Databricks. You'll work on exciting and high-impact client projects across industries, collaborating with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to drive outcomes with speed and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, AWS Glue and other data services.
  • Perform data ingestion, transformation, and integration from a variety of sources (on-premise, cloud, APIs).
  • Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize and tune Spark workloads for performance and cost efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of best practices in security, governance, and data quality.
  • Participate in code reviews, design sessions, and team knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with new features and capabilities in AWS, Azure, Databricks, and the broader data ecosystem.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional experience in data engineering
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure, Databricks and Spark (Python or Scala).
  • Strong understanding of Azure Data Services (e.g., Data Lake Storage, Synapse, Data Factory, Event Hub).
  • Proficiency with SQL and data modeling concepts.
  • Experience building production-grade data pipelines and implementing DevOps practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code).
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused mindset.
  • Consulting or professional services experience is a strong asset.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, or MLflow.
  • Familiarity with Azure security, networking, and cost management.
  • Certifications in Azure or Databricks.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and tools.
