Restaurant Supervisor

At State & Main, we're seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you'll be responsible for ensuring seamless restaurant operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily Front of the House restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and a positive guest experience.
- Deliver superior service, maximizing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
- Regularly review product quality, researching new vendors to maintain high standards.
- Organize and supervise shifts, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
- Appraise staff performance, providing constructive feedback to improve productivity and efficiency.
- Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products, ensuring optimal inventory levels.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Manage restaurant image, suggesting ways to improve and enhance the brand.
- Control operational costs, identifying measures to reduce waste and optimize efficiency.
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses, providing valuable insights for management.
- Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events, reaching a broader audience.
- Recommend ways to enhance customer engagement, such as discounts and social media promotions.
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices, ensuring a consistent and exceptional guest experience.
- Implement policies and protocols to maintain future restaurant operations, ensuring continuity and excellence.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or similar role, with a strong track record of customer service and leadership.
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Acute financial management skills, with the ability to control costs and optimize efficiency.
