Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Living Water Resorts. As a key member of our culinary operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of food to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and ensure seamless food service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance on sanitation and safety procedures.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring accurate inventory management.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for future improvements.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate the activities of 3-4 staff members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
