Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver - Route Optimization Specialist to join our team at T PAHAL TRANSPORT. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for planning and adjusting routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. This role requires expertise in mountain driving and the ability to load and unload goods safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and adjust routes using computer equipment and GPS devices
  • Drive lighter, special purpose trucks and ensure the safety and security of cargo
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve operational efficiency
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in heavy haulage and route optimization
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions
