Job Title: Family Caregiver

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Family Caregiver to join our team at Yoganithy Sathyakumar. As a Family Caregiver, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering bedside and personal care, administering medications, and assisting clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene. You will also be required to perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, provide companionship, and shop for food and household supplies.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Cook meals for clients
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Mental health first aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Family Caregiver, you will be working in a non-smoking environment.
