We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our team at Visual Information Products Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and be proficient in MS SQL Server, MySQL, and data analysis software.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting data to identify areas for improvement within our organization's IT infrastructure, developing and maintaining computer databases, and documenting reporting needs, queries, logic, results, and recommendations to other information systems professionals.
The Data Analyst will also be responsible for liaising with staff on data requirements, collection, and availability, testing data models and database management systems, designing and developing databases, operating database management systems to analyze data, and developing and implementing data administration policy, standards, and models.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of computer and technology knowledge, including Excel Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), PowerBuilder, R, MS SQL Server, MySQL, data analysis software, and MS Office. The candidate will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
