As a Data Analyst with our company, you will be working closely with Data Scientists, Product Management, and Business teams to collect project requirements, identify data, build queries, develop machine learning models, and present findings.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis in Mississauga. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, SQL, Python, and machine learning. They will work effectively both on teams and as a self-motivated individual, being task-oriented and organized.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate data conversations with stakeholders and data sources
  • Explore and analyze complex datasets to identify patterns and anomalies (SQL, Python)
  • Develop and deploy machine learning models
  • Work with business to understand logic
  • Lead data analytics process with the product team to gather insights and identify solutions
  • Collect, organize, analyze, and present insights
  • Organize project steps and document questions, findings, processes (Confluence, JIRA)
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and at least 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst. They must also have strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced agile development environment, and be able to write and run SQL queries from Data Lake, Big Query, and Vendor Master as required.
