CG Lighting and Compositing Artist Opportunity

Atomic Cartoons Inc. is seeking a skilled CG Lighting and Compositing Artist to contribute to the success of our exciting CG projects. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with other production members to achieve creative lighting goals and deliver high-quality visual effects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Lighting Supervisor to attain creative lighting goals shot by shot or in sequences.
  • Share ideas and work closely with FX and Animation teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Meet production deadlines as assigned by management.
  • Stay up-to-date with new techniques, tools, and software relevant to the role.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience as a Lighting and Compositing artist on multiple animation and/or VFX projects.
  • Production experience using Katana.
  • Familiarity with Maya and Nuke.
  • Excellent communication and visual skills, with attention to detail.
  • Prior industry experience working in a studio environment, preferably on an animated series or feature.
  • Experience with Renderman and Flow for production tracking, submitting, and publishing an asset.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
