CG Texturing Artist Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for skilled CG Texturing Artists to contribute to the creation of high-quality 3D models and textures for a short-term 3-month contract at Atomic Cartoons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with show supervisors to texture and shade 3D models using industry-standard software.
  • Work with the Assets Department Supervisor(s) and Art Director to develop the aesthetic vision of the production.
  • Share ideas and work closely with other production members, including modeling, lighting, compositing, and design.
  • Meet deadlines while producing high-quality work.
  • Stay updated on new techniques, tools, and software.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Maya animation tools and props.
  • Experience with various rendering software, such as Renderman, Vray, and Arnold.
  • Ability to communicate creative and technical ideas.
  • Background in visual arts/design with a strong understanding of form, geometry, and movement.
  • Excellent visual skills and attention to detail.
  • Industry experience in CG and/or Visual Effects is an asset.
  • Knowledge of dynamics and/or rigging is an asset.
  • Eligibility to work in Canada.
