Restaurant Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Jatujak Restaurant. As the primary point of contact for all operational matters, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.

About the Role
  • This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week.
  • The ideal candidate will have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze financial reports to identify areas for cost reduction and implement strategies to increase profitability.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure accurate forecasting and expense control.
  • Evaluate daily operations and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of high-performing staff members.
  • Set schedules and monitor attendance, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
  • Supervise staff and address any performance or conduct issues promptly.
  • Balancing cash and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Cost products and services to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, securing the best possible deals.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, generating new revenue streams.
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation, driving business growth and brand awareness.
  • Lead and instruct individuals, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Manage events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings.
