Youth Support Worker, Youth Transitions Program

The YMCA of Greater Vancouver is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our Youth Transitions Program, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to vulnerable youth, helping them to achieve their educational and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized support plans to meet the unique needs of each youth participant.
- Provide case management services, including intake and assessment, to ensure that youth receive the necessary support and resources.
- Facilitate workshops and group sessions to promote life skills development, education, and personal growth.
- Collaborate with schools, community agencies, and other organizations to maximize services and resources for youth.
- Maintain accurate records and data to inform program evaluation and improvement.
- Work within defined program budgets and ensure effective use of resources.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field, such as Child and Youth Care, Education, or Social Work.
- 2 years of experience working with vulnerable youth, preferably in a community outreach or support role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

- Leading Others: Develop the Potential in Others, Create a Culture of Connection.
- Leading Mission: Think and Act Strategically, Make an Intentional Impact.
