Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Supermarket Clerk to join our team. As a Supermarket Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring accurate inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by answering customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, receive and stock merchandise, and ensure that shelves are fully stocked and facing.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales goals, resolve customer issues, and maintain a positive store environment.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Work Environment: Air-conditioned, cold/refrigerated, dusty, and odorous.
- Work Setting: Relocation costs covered by employer, supermarket/grocery store.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
- Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
