Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, accurately recording all financial transactions.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, as well as other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely payment to employees.
  • Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
Requirements
  • Educational background in a related field, such as bookkeeping or accounting.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of accounting software and systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on time management and prioritization.
