Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1816570 ONTARIO LIMITED. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation and Service: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Staff Management: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and supervise and coordinate the activities of staff.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Skills: Excellent oral communication, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
