We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at the Fort St. John Hospital and Health Centre in British Columbia, Canada.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to bring their expertise and passion for delivering high-quality patient care to our dynamic healthcare team.

As a Diagnostic Ultrasound Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and examinations, working collaboratively with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements
  • Graduate of a recognized/accredited North American Program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography)
  • Current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) and/or Canadian Association of Registered Diagnostic Ultrasound Professionals (CARDUP)
  • Active membership in good standing with ARDMS and/or Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (CSDMS)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to teach clients and others both one-on-one and in groups
  • Ability to integrate and evaluate pertinent data to problem-solve and make decisions effectively
  • Proven leadership skills, including the ability to promote staff morale, engagement, and risk-taking
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
