Job Summary:

The successful candidate will perform a variety of technical and clinical duties related to the work of a medical imaging technologist. Depending on operational needs, the successful candidate will do shifts at the hospital and the medical imaging department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform technical and clinical duties related to medical imaging.
  • Work in a team environment to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical imaging technologies and techniques.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Registered with the New Brunswick Association of Medical Radiation Technologists.
  • Diploma from a recognized school of radiologic technology.
  • Current BLS certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform assigned work.
  • Good work history (performance and attendance).
  • Adherence to professional ethical principles, to the Network's management philosophy and to organizational values.
  • Compliance with the rules of confidentiality set by Vitalité Health Network.

Language Requirements:

Written and spoken competence in French and spoken competence in English are required.
