We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a General Duty Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and technical support functions in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assigned duties in accordance with scope of training and experience, and established protocols.
- Provide direct patient/resident care and technical, administrative, and operational support functions.
- Maintain a safe environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and maintain standards put forth by Accreditation.
- Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with attained certification by CAMRT.
- Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program with attained certification by CSMLS.
- Successful completion of an accredited Medical Imaging Technology Program, eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.) and registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.A.M.R.T.) within three months of hire.
- Must maintain current licensing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM).
- Previous related experience.
- Windows computer environment required.
- Microsoft Office programs preferred.
Travel is required to other sites and a valid driver's license is needed.
