Job Title: Registered Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at JeanCoutu095.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of prescription information, entering client data into databases, preparing medications for clients, and supervising the activities of other medical technologists or technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy of prescription information
  • Enter client information into databases
  • Prepare medications for clients
  • Supervise and direct activities of other medical technologists or technicians
  • Bill third-party insurers
  • Compound oral solutions, ointments, and creams
  • Maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products
  • Interpret physician's specifications
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Or equivalent experience
  • Urban area
  • Pharmacy or drugstore
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced urban area pharmacy or drugstore environment, requiring strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
