About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Commercial Strategy to join our team at The Crescent Hotels Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our Commercial Strategy team to drive business growth and revenue through effective sales, marketing, and catering sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Commercial Strategy team to develop and execute property brand strategies, promoting the property as an independent hotel and conference facility.
  • Develop and manage sales targets, mentoring the team to achieve their targets and overall goals in partnership with the Director of Sales.
  • Collaborate with corporate and local property departments to leverage tools and maximize exposure and brand recognition of the independent facility.
  • Develop and execute digital strategy development and execution, leveraging knowledge of sales and marketing principles.
  • Manage sales, marketing, and catering sales reports, systems management, and analysis to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales leadership and strategy at an executive level, preferably in a full-service hotel setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience leading digital strategy development and execution.
  • A degree, diploma, or certification in sales and/or marketing or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule on occasion with varied hours of work in alignment with client and event needs.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, CRM software, and the ability to learn and implement new and customized software programs quickly and efficiently.
