Job Description

This role involves:

  • Managing Marlborough Bespoke DFM portfolios through thorough research and constructing portfolios that meet or exceed investor expectations while maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitating efficient portfolio management on relevant platforms, including trading, monitoring, and reviewing positions and exposures.
  • Promoting the Bespoke DFM offering to key stakeholders and clients.

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day management of the Marlborough DFM portfolio range, co-portfolio management role of the global direct equity solution.
  • Researching funds and securities to construct portfolios that deliver consistent returns within risk and performance limits.
  • Maintaining records of research and investment rationale, ongoing portfolio monitoring, regular investment reports, and statutory managers reports.
  • Collaboration with Sales & Marketing teams to create materials and presentations for existing and potential investors.
  • Liaising with Chief Investment Officer, Compliance & Risk, and Administration teams for regulatory adherence and efficient administration.
  • Timely transaction execution according to Best Execution requirements.
  • Establishing and maintaining productive relationships with external service providers.
  • Mentoring and developing colleagues' knowledge and capabilities within the DFM arena.
Requirements

Desirable Skills

You'll be well-suited for this role if you have:

  • Previous experience with Bloomberg.
  • IT Literacy.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
  • The ability to be certified as a material risk taker under SM&CR.
Beneficial Qualifications

Candidates with the following qualifications will have an advantage:

  • Chartered Wealth Manager or Chartered Financial Analyst.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a similar role.
