About the Opportunity
The Department of Accounting and Finance at Mount Royal University invites applications for credit contract instructors in Finance. While we welcome applications to teach a variety of courses in Finance, we anticipate requiring assistance with the following subject areas:
Key Responsibilities
- Instruction: course delivery (either face-to-face or online) including preparation of course outline, teaching all assigned classes for the semester, lesson preparation, creation of assessments, examination invigilation, and grading of quizzes and examinations.
- Administration: maintenance of instructor office hours, input of final grades on course completion, participation in scheduled course meetings with other faculty.
Qualifications
- Minimum of Master's degree in Finance or relevant discipline.
- A relevant professional designation such as CFA or CFP would be an advantage.
- Excellence in university or college teaching, or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years applicable professional experience.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
