About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technical Program Manager to join our e-commerce services team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the delivery of critical business initiatives, managing all aspects of the project, and working closely with business and operations leadership to define the product and provide updates on the program.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-end ownership of cross-functional projects, including product definition, roadmap planning, and resource planning and project execution.
  • Lead the definition and execution of strategic projects aimed at reducing the total cost and time to market for launch.
  • Work closely with business and operations leadership, including executive leadership at Amazon, to define the product and provide updates on the program.
  • Hands-on involvement in driving the delivery of critical business initiatives, managing all aspects of the project, including project planning, requirements definition, risk management, communication, and implementation planning.
  • Technical problem-solving skills to identify innovative solutions to project deadlocks and resolve issues and constraints through consensus and sound judgment.
  • Responsible for making project decisions, achieving tactical goals while retaining a strategic focus.
  • Work closely with the development teams and play a leadership role in product architecture and design.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience.
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience.
  • Experience managing projects across cross-functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules.
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership.

Compensation

The base salary for this position ranges from $128,100/year up to $214,000/year. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
