$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical equipment, including stationary industrial machinery, under the supervision of senior technicians. Key tasks include reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements, repairing or replacing defective machinery parts, and supervising other workers. Additionally, the candidate will be required to fabricate parts during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up, perform routine maintenance work on machinery, operate machining tools to fabricate parts, install machinery and equipment, and read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, as well as 5 years or more of experience in industrial machinery assembly. A strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential. The ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle heavy loads is also necessary. Familiarity with MS Office and precision measuring instruments is an asset.
