LPN Care Specialist

As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Baptist Housing in Kelowna, you will provide person-centered care and contribute to comprehensive care planning. You will adhere to the highest standards of practice and ethics outlined by the BCCNM, collaborating closely with Registered Nurses (RNs) for complex cases and consultations.
Under the guidance of managers and RNs, you will implement wellness programs and foster a positive environment for both teams and residents. You will maintain meticulous resident charting and information using advanced systems like Point-Click Care and EMAR, ensuring accurate reporting of acute resident information to our RNs.

Your Responsibilities- Provide person-centered care and contribute to comprehensive care planning.
- Collaborate closely with Registered Nurses (RNs) for complex cases and consultations.
- Implement wellness programs and foster a positive environment for both teams and residents.
- Maintain meticulous resident charting and information using advanced systems like Point-Click Care and EMAR.
- Licensed Practical Nurse Diploma from a recognized, post-secondary institution.
- Member in good standing or eligible for membership with British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
- Current First Aid Certificate.
- Food Safe Certificate.
- Competitive salary range: $32.84-$41.35 per hour.
