Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a prestigious Long-Term Care/Assisted Living Facility in Kamloops, British Columbia.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated LPN to provide high-quality care to residents while working in a dynamic and supportive environment. As an LPN on our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of residents' needs
  • Developing and implementing personalized care plans
  • Administering medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Supervising and guiding care staff to ensure excellent resident care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing from an accredited institution
  • CURRENT registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
  • CURRENT CPR and First Aid certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge and experience in Dementia care (an asset)
