Precision Calibration Specialist

About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced calibration professional to join our dynamic team. As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for achieving customer satisfaction by completing calibration services within expected timeframes. You will also accurately enter data into our tracking database, complete calibration data sheets efficiently, and occasionally create calibration data sheets based on instrument specifications and approved procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve customer satisfaction through completion of calibration services within expected timeframes, as assigned by lead techs or supervisors.
- Accurately enter data into our tracking database.
- Complete calibration data sheets accurately and efficiently.
- Occasionally create calibration data sheets, with minimal supervision, based upon instrument specifications and approved calibration procedures.
- Complete all documentation supporting customer requirements, reporting, ISO, and other quality systems.
- Have limited interaction with customers for items requiring repair or limited calibration.
- Acquire job skills and learn company policies.
- Adhere to quality management system policies and procedures in performance of work.
- Work primarily from our service center; may occasionally perform field service under supervision of more experienced technicians.
- FBS participation-Daily Scheduling, Visual Management Participation, Kaizen Participation, Problem-solving participation.
- Perform other laboratory support functions as required in an efficient and orderly manner.
Requirements
- CGP clearance eligibility required.
- Must meet the requirements to drive a company vehicle (valid driver's license and clean driving record).
- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Electronics background or electronics degree.
- Experience in equipment calibration in General Purpose Physical Dimensional.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.
- Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications with an emphasis on Excel required.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted.
- Candidate must be willing to travel to local and regional on-site locations. Overnight travel will be required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training.
- Experience in equipment calibration in Torque Pressure RF.
Compensation
The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000-$80,000, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
