Job Title: Experienced Medical Radiation Technologist

University Health Network is seeking an experienced Medical Radiation Technologist to join our team in the Joint Department of Medical Imaging. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality image production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Ensure MRI safety standards are followed at all times.
  • Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including MRI machines.
  • Prepare and document patient reports and test results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide optimal patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Completion of a recognized medical imaging program or equivalent education.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in MRI.
  • Certification by the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) in MRI.
  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in MRI.
