About the Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate support worker to join our team. As a support worker, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve their goals and live increasingly independent lives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing support and guidance to individuals in achieving their life goals
- Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Accompanying individuals on community outings, including volunteering, employment, and leisure activities
- Maintaining accurate records of daily activities and goal progression
Available Positions
We have two permanent positions available:
- Position #1 - Permanent Part Time: Sunday, 9:00am-3:00pm
- Position #2 - Permanent Full Time: Monday, 9:00am-2:30pm, 11:00pm-7:00am; Tuesday, 11:00pm-7:00am (ON); Wednesday, 7:00am-9:00am; Thursday, 2:30pm-11:00pm, 11:00pm-7:00am (ON); Friday, 7:00am-9:00am, 9:00am-2:30pm
About You
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting others and have a strong understanding of the person-centered and active support approach. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Class 5 driver's license (permanent staff must be willing to obtain a Class 4 license)
- A First Aid and CPR Certificate
- A clear criminal record (paid by CLS)
- A clean driver's abstract
